Maths Club
Backdrop
Each student possesses unique qualities that often remain hidden in the classroom due to shyness.
However, informal discussions between teachers and students can reveal these talents. A Mathematics Club
is needed to explore the subtle aspects of mathematics through an informal teaching and learning
process, making math instruction both entertaining and engaging, and ensuring active student
participation.
The Mathematics Club, while supported by teachers, is a student-run educational group. It aims to foster
a greater interest in mathematics, enhance logical thinking, and develop problem-solving skills among
students.
Objectives of the Maths Club
The primary objectives of the Mathematics Club are as follows:-
1. To develop a logical approach in students.
2. To enhance problem-solving abilities and critical thinking.
3. To spark and nurture an interest in Mathematics among students.
4. To provide opportunities for learning the application of mathematical principles in practical life.

Utility of the Club
The Math Club makes the subject of Mathematics interesting through various activities while also
covering the syllabus content. Students develop problem-solving habits and learn to apply Math in their
daily lives, becoming aware of its importance in every sphere of life. Additionally, students cultivate
a logical approach and a sense of cooperation. By engaging in hands-on activities, students gain
confidence, which helps them to easily understand even the more challenging sections of the syllabus.
